Baildon

Camping Cabins

What to do when staying with us?

There is all sorts you can do, depending on your mood and the weather!
Why not bring a disposable or portable BBQ? There are BBQ stands infront of the cabins and there is use of a fridge at the amenity block.
The kids can enjoy the playground and admire our peacocks, ducks and chickens (please no chasing)

Have a beautiful breakfast or lunch at our on site cafe Moor View Cabin !
Bring the dog, at no extra charge, it's a fabulous location for walks! If you don't have a dog, you can walk an Alpaca around the moors! Visit the AlTreka Facebook page for more info!
It's a nice walk along Shipley glen (the site overlooks the glen) to The Old Glen House, serving food and drinks. Just on from there is the historic Shipley Glen Tramway that takes you down into lovely Saltaire, home of Hockney's art at Salts Mill. Also a great for a bit of food, drink and shopping. Baildon village has a Co Op supermarket, bars, pubs, restaurants and takeaways and a Taxi rank. It also has a great Farmers Market on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Or simply bring yourself, and a good book and enjoy the fresh air and peaceful moorland!
